Help me please?

I'm not sure if i picked right thread to post my topic, if I was wrong feel free to move it somewhere else :/
Anyway,

I've made browser in visual basic, and as u may know visual basic uses IE web engine, and i've heard that u can change that into like chrome engine or even firefox engine etc...
So my question is, is that even possible, if yes, can anyone help me?
And if its not possible, is there a way to make IE faster or something :/

I really don't understand and I need help,
