vs2012 and database

ok i have just upgraded to vs2012 from vb2010 now in vb2010 i usually use the inbuilt local database but in vs2012 that's all changed i have been researching on google but can not find information that clears my mind on what to do.

So how do i use a database now in vs2012

ive looked at mysql but

a) what version do you use

*community server
*cluster
*workbench

etc.....


also how does that work if i implement mysql in to my preject like do i have to install it on a clients machine or does it build itself into the prject files.

i am really confused about this major vs2012 change any help would be greatfully appreciated.

before i go i should give you an idea of what i am using the databse for.

i need 2 tables

1 table holds profile names

the other holds file information
*file name
*file size
*2 images
*file path (x 2 cols)
