Having issues trying to use old VB6 Code (Shell32.dll) in VB.NET 2012

Hello all,

I'm trying to code a FTP Client and I found some old code on the web that seems to do what I'm trying to do (at least that's what the comments say) and it uses Shell32.dll to grab Icons to populate a grid. I keep getting this error....

PInvokeStackImbalance was detected
Message: A call to PInvoke function 'ART to CSD Feed!ART_to_CSD_Feed.frmFTPMain::ExtractIcon' has unbalanced the stack. This is likely because the managed PInvoke signature does not match the unmanaged target signature. Check that the calling convention and parameters of the PInvoke signature match the target unmanaged signature.


I have scoured the net and find all sorts of references but I am unable to formulate a solution on my own.

Does anyone have any experience with this DLL and or error that can offer some assistance?
